The Scantech iReal 2E is a professional high-precision 3D scanner that employs eye-safe infrared VCSEL structured light technology and provides outstanding accuracy, large scanning area, impressive capturing speed, and high material adaptability. Besides, the device boasts a smart tracking system and can scan without markers by using texture/feature or hybrid alignment modes. The smart tracking system is able to detect and automatically remove most of the artifacts caused by body shaking, which makes the iReal2E perfect for the full-body scanning process. Furthermore, the scanner’s cutting-edge technology eliminates the issues of dazzling lights and the difficulty of hair scanning. The scanner can reach a maximum data collection speed of 1,500,000 measurements/s and output precise renders both in light and dark environments.

Thanks to its single frame point accuracy of just 0.100 mm and max. scanning area of 850 x 800 mm, the iReal 2E is capable of vivid HD color reproduction, rapid texture capturing, smart geometry acquisition, and accurate detail capturing. Specially designed for medium and large objects and human body scanning, it has an effective working range of  250-1000 mm and weighs less than a kilogram, making it easy to use and carry around.

The Scantech iReal 2E is a professional handheld 3D scanning device with impressive accuracy and scan speed. Equipped with invisible light sources as well as auxiliary lights, this industry-grade solution can deliver a maximum point accuracy of 100 microns. Moreover, it offers an astounding depth of field of 750 mm, making this scanner a perfect choice for almost any kind of professional application. The alignment accuracy of the iReal 2E model is 0.3 mm/m (for marker alignment mode).

Please note that alignment deviation value (alignment accuracy value) refers to the deviation value obtained by measuring the centers of the two standard spheres under marker alignment mode.

Scanning modes specifics

The iReal 2E 3D scanner offers powerful alignment abilities, supporting four different alignment modes: feature, texture, marker, and mixed. The features alignment mode can be used for scanning sculptures with rich geometric features or scanning human body. Texture mode is suitable for plane surfaces like walls, while markers mode can be used to scan a whole car or a set of castings. For objects with a number of diverse textures and features, the mixed mode can be used.

Scan volume

The Scantech iReal 2E offers a maximum scanning area of  850 x 800 mm, which makes it perfect for medium to large-sized objects and human body 3D scanning. Thanks to the scanner’s precision, not even the smallest detail will be left behind.

It is recommended to keep a maximum size of a single scan within 4 m.

The Scantech iReal 2E comes with a proprietary ScanViewer software solution. It is a free professional software suite for 3D scanning and data processing that offers a variety of advanced options for data editing. It lets you create a variety of different features, request advanced feature analysis, provide distance measurement, pipe inspection as well as perform accurate and thorough dimensional and tolerance analysis of scanned objects according to the scanned data, and much more.

Look and feel
